Steve Woollard is a locative media designer whose work focuses around the relationships between people/technology/spaces. In 2006 Steve received a First-Class Honours undergraduate degree from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, reading Design for Interactive Media. He was also awarded Student of the Year and nominated for the prestigious First Ministers Award. Selected works are also being shown in the China/UK Festival in Chongqing, China in March 2007.

Working closely with Dr Constance Fleuriot at HP Labs in Bristol, Steve was heavily involved in the research and development of the TitanicScape project in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Steve is currently finalizing plans for a PhD research project called, ‘Social Slipstreaming’, where perceptions of place will be examined and recreated through live art practice and context aware technologies.
