Marie Christiane Mathieu, Phd, lives and work in Montreal. Her recent research finds inspiration in the concepts and issues found in the world of architecture and interactivity. She explores the notion of the "aître" (aire=area +être=be) in the construction of installations that connect with the individual and certain phenomenon that surround him or her. She work within different kind of spaces, networks and collaborative projects. Her work has been presented in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil, as well as in Autria, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands.
