I believe skiers and snowboarders and no different to trained dancers or musicians. All practices take a level of commitment, perseverance, and determination. Unfortunately, these ‘extreme creatives’ do not get the chance to show their accomplishments. This project aims to provide that stage. The planned application aims to deliver content (pictures, video, text, audio) in the locations where it is most valuable. In context. Not only does this project allow for the delivery of this valuable data, but also stands as a platform for users to leave their own information. Other proposed elements of the ‘SnowScape’ project are the inclusion of a ‘real world’ location aware game, slope soundtracking and digital snow mentor. Future collaborations with clothing manufactory, Burton,have also been sighted. Opening up wider scope for the inclusion of wearable technology and the HP mediascape software.
