Ghosts of Industry:

Ghosts of Industry is a virtual exploration of the industrial ghost town of Bitumount in northern Alberta. This remote location in Alberta's boreal forest will be superimposed over the Banff Centre campus so as the audience moves through that space they will visit the isolated, forgotten spaces of Bitumount through poems, videos and audio-visual artifacts. A scaled prototype of the locative experience will be produced during the almost perfect residency.

In the Shadow of Progress:

In the Shadow of Progress is a proposed digital (web and mobile) documentary under investigation for the National Film Board of Canada on the city of Ft. McMurray. The project will create a stylised, simulated environment of the city and surrounding region in which will be embedded experiences and deeply personal anecdotes that capture the character of this unique space and place. During the Almost Perfect residency design schematics and experience flows will be prepared.
